All of Julia's creations are inspired by her own observations. This design is inspired by drawings and photographs of herons and flowers while on a canal boat holiday in Cheshire, England. The blue and white colours are influenced by the wonderful portuguese tiles that Julia came across while on holiday in Lisbon. Many of the tiles had bird or animal themes and this gave Julia the idea to create her own series of tile inspired paintings.

The cushion measures approximately 43 cm square and is made in luxurious cotton drill fabric backed with deep blue. The cushion will be skilfully hand sewn to order by the talented hands of Cotoo in North Yorkshire, UK. It will then be delicately wrapped and packaged and shipped using a signed for Royal Mail service.
